It is a feature not implemented. I had shared this through the feedback for Firefox also, however did not say it was a bug. I think it is how context menu is invoked. Perhaps it works on windows as it may be default behavior that is in some UI related DLL. Because writing the same code again and again for every application will be redundant. It's just my guess.
