Also check out how the famous classic music composers fall on the quadrants. Interesting that most fall in the Left-Libertarian and Right-Authoritarian quadrants.

Looked at the link you provided, I think it is not a bug. It is a feature not implemented. I had shared this through the feedback for Firefox also, however did not say it was a bug.

I think it is how context menu is invoked. Perhaps it works on windows as it may be default behavior that is in some UI related DLL. Because writing the same code again and again for every application will be redundant. It's just my guess.

My top, and really only really essential add on is xmarks, which until last week I think was called foxmarks:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410
The Chrome version is under dev, but it can not be released soon enough. Very important if you have two or more machines.

Nice list. I totally recommend Exaile for music. Also try out SMplayer for video player I personally think its better then VLC since it a nice frontend for mplayer which is generally(read: in my opinion) better then VLC in Linux.

Great list, I use many of the same myself. What about a music player? I'd add Amarok or Exaile. And for photo management, maybe f-spot or Picasa for Linux.
